Every book I write has a playlist that captures the feel of the story. Mostly, I listen to it when I’m not writing (because I have a hard time writing to music with words). It keeps me in the story and finding the right soundtrack to go with the book is part of my research process. Sometimes new songs present themselves. Other times, I’m familiar with the music

and add it to the playlist. In the end, the soundtrack is a nice souvenir that reminds me of the story and characters and how they were a labor of love.

Below is the soundtrack for LOST IN PARIS. If you subscribe to Spotify, follow this link to the “Lost in Paris a novel by Elizabeth Thompson” playlist. Also, the songs are available individually on other music streaming services, including YouTube where you can listen for free (click on the song titles). If you haven't picked up a copy of LOST IN PARIS, I hope you will. Library Journal gave the book a starred review and calls it a "must-read." You can find it here. Enjoy!
